Terms of Service
Effective date: 6 October 2026
These documents apply to ecomassist.net and the EcomAssist panel. Questions: legal@ecomassist.net.
1.The service
EcomAssist is software that helps online sellers manage listings, prices, stock, orders and tracking on marketplaces such as eBay. The service is provided by EcomAssist ("we", "us").
EcomAssist is a tool. You remain the seller of record for every listing and order and are responsible for what you sell, how you describe it and how you fulfil it.
2.Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
One person or business may create one account. Team members can be invited on plans that include team access.
3.Connected marketplaces
When you connect a marketplace account (for example eBay), you authorise EcomAssist to act on that account through the marketplace's official API within the permissions you grant: creating and updating listings, reading orders and uploading tracking information.
You must comply with the policies of every marketplace and supplier you use, including rules on sourcing, item condition, handling time and tracking. EcomAssist does not guarantee that any selling practice is permitted by a marketplace, and we are not responsible for restrictions a marketplace places on your account.
You can revoke EcomAssist's access at any time in your marketplace account settings (on eBay: Account settings → Third-party app access). Revoking stops our access immediately.
4.Billing and trials
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. New accounts receive a 7-day free trial that does not require a payment card.
You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops the next renewal. Fees already paid are not refunded except where required by law.
Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice by email.
5.Acceptable use
You may not use EcomAssist to list prohibited or counterfeit items, infringe intellectual property, mislead buyers, send spam, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or break any law or marketplace policy.
We may suspend automations or accounts that put the service, marketplaces or other users at risk.
6.Liability
The service is provided "as is". Automated pricing, stock and ordering depend on third-party data that can be wrong or delayed; review your settings and results regularly.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, marketplace penalties or indirect damages.
7.Termination
You can close your account at any time. We may terminate accounts that breach these terms.
After closure we delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
8.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email or in the panel at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.
